Well another week has come and gone. The days go by but the stress doesn't! Lots of fun things this week so we'll just get right into em!

Zone Conference
This is more like the craziest 2 days of my life. It started on Monday night when we got a call from the assistants saying that they were coming on splits with us Thursday because it was convenient with the conference on Friday. Cool. Lots of plans changed and made to accommodate but it's fine. The problem ended up being this moving service project we did on Thursday. In Norway people always ask you to help them move and then you show up and they want like one couch moved 10 feet. So we never actually set apart a ton of time when people ask for help moving. Well this lady was definitely MOVING. We show up and we quickly realized this was not a 1 or even 2 hour job. So we started busting it out but the aps showed up at 12 and we werent even close to done. So Childs and I drove into the city and let them into our apartment. We drove back and did some more loading of the moving truck. However at 1:30 we had an appointment. However there was no way things were going to get done if both Childs and I left. One of us needed to stay. So we packed up a car and dropped Childs off to work with the aps while I stayed and helped move. I then spent from 2 to 5 carrying a fridge, washer, dryer, and stove, up four flights of stairs in an elevator-less building. Thanks guys. It was brutal on the back. Not to mention the hundreds of other boxes to be carried into the new house. Oh and yeah, we did have to carry this all down two flights of incredibly tight stairs at the beginning. It was brutal. I didn't even end up getting onto splits with the APs until 6 o clock. Which ended up being a way fun night with Elder Holden. Due to starvation and the missionary army coming into Trondheim we skipped out on our preparations for the meeting that were to be done that night and pushed them to the next morning. That was mistake one. The apartment was crazy. 20 Elders were not meant to fit in there. It was a jungle and it smelled bad. Fast forward to the day of the conference, the next morning at 8 o clock. We get to the church and battle to figure out how to get the projector to work so that we can hook the presidents ipad up to it. We spend an hour on google, searching every corner of the church, and calling members to try and figure out how to do it. We eventually got a hold of president evans who said he had a cord that goes out from the ipad so another cord can be plugged in #thanksalotappleforallyourexclusiveproducts. We were relieved until we saw the cord at 9:10 and realized it was an HDMI Input and we needed VGA. So with a leadership meeting at 9:30 we sprinted to the local mall and bought a VGA Apple adapter which has a price I won't even mention to you and will definitely leave elder childs and I poor unless we can get reimbursed. Hopefully we can because we let president keep it! We then sprinted back. A sweaty mess we showed up to the leadership meeting only to have 2 of our district leaders be late. More stress. The meeting eventually got underway and then the zone conference followed. Unreal amounts of stress getting everything ready. It was chaotic and just a mad house. You gotta love it though, two guys running at full sprint at 9 am in suits and jackets through the city center looking for an ipad cord. Good times. It was fun. Lots of good laughs and definitely a punishment for the lack of preparation we did the night before. Granted with the last minute ap splits and stuff it was a little difficult. No excuses though, just memories.

Other Good Stuff
-The Weggersens got their part of the package mom and they loved it! Olea was super happy and Ane was super grateful! It came at a good time for her, husband in a meeting and the kids going crazy! They were all smiles!
-The package of course came safely! Thank you! You guys are the best!
-We also went on splits with the Trondheim Elders and will be going up to Alta again this Friday. Some more stories to come your way most likely! It was really good to work with them.
-Last pday we carved some pumpkins with some members! Elder Childs and I made a sweet pumpkin. We definitely lived up to our expectations! I did the drawing and he did the carving. Great team effort there!
-We had a halloween party on Saturday with the ward here and that was sweet as well. Lots of fun times and just a way awesome ward here in Trondheim.
-This cool vietnamese kid named UY came to church the past two Sundays and he is way sweet. He came because he got a card on the street and Elder Childs and I taught him on Sunday. He is way sincere and we should hopefully get to talk to him next Sunday as well. He is a straight miracle!

Time is Flying
It's hard to believe another pday is already here. It's been way awesome serving here in Trondheim. This Sunday we had a great lesson about staying in the boat. Just a great message about holding to the things we know to be true. It definitely is a lot like that on a mission. Things test your faith and obedience but you have to hold yourself to what you know is right. I'm a big fan lately of the Elder Uchtdorf quote that says to "doubt your doubts before you doubt your faith".
